Background Uploads

Kled Support

Last Update a day ago

Overview

One of Kled's most powerful features is background uploading. Your uploads continue even when you are not actively using the app.

What Background Uploads Mean

Your uploads keep running when:

  • You switch to another app
  • You lock your device
  • You close or force-quit the Kled app
  • Your device goes to sleep

Performance Note

While uploads continue in the background, they are generally faster when the app is open and in the foreground. For the best upload speeds, keep Kled open during large uploads.

Controlling Background Uploads

You can toggle background uploads on or off in Profile > Advanced Settings > Background Uploads.

  • Enabled (default): Uploads continue when the app is in the background
  • Disabled: Uploads pause when you leave the app and resume when you return

Notifications

When background uploads complete, you will receive a push notification (if notifications are enabled). This lets you know your files have been uploaded without needing to check the app.
